Dr. Shameem G.M

Dr. Shameem G.M. serves as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Orthopaedics.

He specializes in complex trauma surgeries including Pelvic Acetabular and Ilizarov surgery, Joint Replacement, Advanced Shoulder and Knee Arthroscopy for a multi-ligament knee injury, tendon injury of the shoulder and sports injuries.

Dr. Shameem received his MBBS degree from Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore. Adding to his medical education is his Post Graduate Diploma in Orthopaedics from JJM Medical College, Davangere and DNB in Orthopaedics from Tejasvini Hospital and SSIOT, Mangalore.
He did his Fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow surgery from Ospedale "Cervesi", Cattolica, Italy.

Prior to his service at Aster MIMS Calicut, he has worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Iqraa Hospital, Calicut.
