Mrs. Maryam Mohamed Amur from Oman came to Aster Medcity, Kochi with a severe, persistent back pain following an accident. She met our Consultant Spine Surgeon Dr. Jacob Eapen Mathew, who performed detailed examination of her spinal problem. She was found to have a dislocated spine along with compressed nerve roots, for which she had to undergo a minimally invasive lumbar decompression and fusion surgery in June 2017. She has recovered completely and is extremely happy and relieved by the fact that she doesn’t have to live with the pain she thought would never go away.
