Mole Excision < 4mm

There are numerous ways to remove a mole of more than 4mm in diameter:

Punch excision: the part of the mole and underlying deep tissues are removed to avoid recurrence. The area is sutured to heal.

Incision: a curve incision is made with a blade under local anaesthesia to remove moles above 8mm.
