Fellowship in Neuroanesthesia and Neurointensive Care
The Fellowship in Neuroanesthesia and Neurointensive Care is a subspecialty training program for anesthesiologists focused on the perioperative and critical care management of patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures. This fellowship equips physicians to handle the unique physiological challenges of brain and spine surgery, including maintaining cerebral blood flow, controlling intracranial pressure, and ensuring optimal neurological outcomes.
Fellows gain expertise in advanced techniques such as awake craniotomy, complex spine anesthesia, and multimodal neuromonitoring. They are also trained in the management of patients with traumatic brain injury, aneurysms, stroke, and neurocritical emergencies in the ICU. The program emphasizes advanced hemodynamic monitoring, patient positioning, intraoperative neuromonitoring, and postoperative neurocritical care.

Designed for exceptional international medical professionals, this initiative aims to advance global health and foster international medical exchange by providing world-class clinical training.

Program Highlights & Clinical Exposure Fellows accepted into the program undergo rigorous, hands-on training to ensure clinical excellence:
• High-Volume Clinical Exposure: Direct clinical exposure to 1,000–1,200 complex neurosurgical procedures annually.
• Advanced Academic Curriculum: Weekly academic sessions and a dedicated Microsurgical Cadaver Dissection Program.

How to Apply & Selection Process The program follows a strict, merit-based evaluation process:
1. Application Submission: Interested international candidates must submit their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and professional credentials for initial screening.
2. Phase 1 - Entrance Examination: Shortlisted candidates are invited to take an online multiple-choice question (MCQ) examination tailored to their applied specialty.
3. Phase 2 - Formal Interview: Candidates who successfully clear the entrance exam will proceed to a formal interview with the fellowship faculty.
4. Final Selection & Onboarding: Selected fellows will receive a customized sponsor letter and are guided through the parallel processes of securing their embassy visa and registering with the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India.
