Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy
Tonsils and adenoids are infection-fighting tissue clumps in the mouth's back. They become swollen and painful when they get infected.
Doctors recommend surgery to remove tonsils and adenoids when your child has recurrent throat or sinus infections. The surgical processes are called tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. The doctors give general anaesthesia during the surgery. In addition, the doctor shall tell you to give your child soft food and liquid pain-killing medicine after surgery.
