Gastric Lavage
Gastric lavage or gastric irrigation is another method of removing toxins or poisons from the stomach by administering a liquid into the stomach, followed by removing it with the help of a tube. The toxic substance flows out along with the liquid. Gastric lavage is most helpful if done within one hour of ingestion of the poison. A trained person should do it to avoid complications.
