Polypectomy

Polyps are excess growth tissue anywhere in your body or body cavities. They may be benign or cancerous, only diagnosed after their tissue test. Polypectomy is a surgery done to remove polyps from anywhere in the body. Polypectomies are minimally invasive and can be done through endoscopy or laparoscopy, depending on the area and the number of polyps.
