Abdominal and chest fluid aspiration
It is a procedure to remove fluid buildup from any part of the pleural cavity(space between lungs and chest) using a small needle or tube.
Abdominal fluid aspiration is done using a fine needle where the fluid aspirated is tested for the cause of ascites(accumulated fluid in the abdominal cavity) and cancer cells.
