Reconstructive Urology

Under this sub-specialty, our urologists focus on the restoration of normal urinary function, often through surgical procedures, for patients with congenital abnormalities or damage caused by trauma or disease.

These surgeries can range from minor procedures such as bladder re-positioning and urethral reconstruction to complex procedures involving the bladder, urethra, prostate, and kidneys. In some cases, reconstructive urologic surgeries are necessary to restore the patient's ability to urinate normally and to protect their health by preventing urine leakage and infection.
