With over 8 years of experience, Dr. Anika Anil Prabhu Parrikar is a highly qualified pulmonologist specializing in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. She holds an impressive academic portfolio with an MBBS, MD (Gold Medalist), DNB, DM (AIIMS Jodhpur), along with prestigious international certifications: MRCP-SCE (Respiratory Medicine, RCP London) and the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (ERS-HERMES, Switzerland).
Her clinical expertise spans the management of asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, tuberculosis, respiratory infections, lung cancer, and sleep disorders. She is skilled in advanced interventional pulmonology techniques, including bronchoscopy, linear EBUS, thoracoscopy, pleurodesis, pleural and lung biopsies, ICD insertions, and chemotherapy for lung cancer, as well as polysomnography-based diagnosis and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing.
Dr. Anika has worked at leading institutions such as AIIMS Jodhpur, Healthway Hospital Goa, and the TB & Chest Diseases Hospital Goa, where she has managed complex OPD, IPD, ICU, and COVID ICU cases.
