Dr. Ahamed Rafad is a highly qualified pulmonologist with advanced training in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He holds multiple prestigious qualifications including MD, DNB, DM in Pulmonary Medicine, and the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (EDARM). He completed his MD in Respiratory Medicine from Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Tiruvalla, Kerala, followed by DNB in Pulmonary Medicine from the National Board of Examinations and DM in Pulmonary Medicine from SCB Government Medical College, Cuttack, Odisha.
Dr. Rafad has extensive clinical experience in managing a wide spectrum of respiratory diseases including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary infections, and sleep-related breathing disorders.He has specialized expertise in advanced interventional pulmonology procedures, including flexible bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), and medical thoracoscopy. In addition to clinical practice, he is actively involved in research and academic activities, with multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national conferences.
