IVIG Administration
Intravenous immunoglobulin, commonly known as IVIG, is an immunotherapy used in selected immune-mediated neurological disorders.
IVIG contains purified antibodies obtained from donated human plasma and can modify abnormal immune activity.
It may be used in conditions such as Guillain–Barré syndrome, certain forms of CIDP, myasthenia gravis and other autoimmune neurological conditions when clinically indicated.
Treatment is administered intravenously under appropriate medical supervision.
The dose and duration depend on the specific condition and individual clinical circumstances.
