
Dr. Parul Raina
Sr. Specialist - Palliative Medicine & Rehabilitation
Dr. Parul Raina is a skilled and compassionate physician specialised in Palliative Medicine, chronic and acute pain management. With a strong focus on holistic, empathetic care, she is committed to improving the quality of life for patients with complex, life-limiting conditions, especially in oncology and end-of-life support. Her special clinical interests include Chronic Pain, oncology-related pain, and end-of-life care, where she combines evidence-based practice with a compassionate, individualised approach.
She has completed a Global Fellowship in Palliative Medicine from TIPS, Pallium India (Ranked 1st)in 2023, and holds a Daradia Online Fellowship course in Pain Medicine, along with hands-on training in interventional techniques in 2025. Her academic journey includes MBBS from Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka in 2015 and MD in Anesthesiology from Government Medical College, Jammu in 2019. Her 3-year tenure at the AIIMS, New Delhi(2019-2022), played a formative role in refining her clinical skills and deepening her commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centred care.
She worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anaesthesia at Sharda Medical College – School of Medical Sciences & Research, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh (2023–2024), where she was actively involved in both academic teaching and clinical duties. With a strong inclination towards oncology, she subsequently joined Cytecare Hospital, Bengaluru, as an onco-anaesthesiologist in 2024. Her growing passion for comprehensive patient care eventually led her to take on the role of a full-time Palliative Care Specialist.
In addition to her clinical work, she is actively engaged in teaching, advocacy, and academic writing, having authored multiple journal articles and book chapters in pain and palliative care.
