Dr. Ramraj Vemala Nagendra Gupta is a distinguished Senior Consultant in Surgery & Allied Specialties, with over 15 years of expertise in Gastrointestinal surgery, Advanced laparoscopic surgery, Robotic interventions, Bariatric & Metabolic surgery. His approach is rooted in precision, safety, and evidence-based care, tailored for optimal surgical outcomes.
An alumnus of M.S. Ramaiah Medical College and a DNB holder from St. Philomena's Hospital, Dr. Ramraj has pursued two full-time fellowships from RGUHS. Having trained and worked with experts in advanced laparoscopy and surgical gastroenterology, he has over 15 years of experience in this specialty.
He is a recipient of the International Travelling Fellowship Award from the Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India (ACRSI) in colorectal surgery, which took him to St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, Connecticut, USA. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Ramraj has several other fellowships to his credit, including those in hepato-biliary pancreatic surgery and robotic surgery.
He has presented several videos, papers, and posters at various state and national conferences. He has also authored and co-authored several chapters in renowned books on surgical gastroenterology, laparoscopy, and bariatric surgery.
