Dr. Sandhya Cherkil is a leading Psychologist specializing in neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, and psychotherapy. With over two decades of experience, she brings deep expertise in neurocognitive assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, and intraoperative neurocognitive monitoring for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures.
At Aster Medcity’s Department of Neurosciences, she plays a key role in evaluating and supporting patients with brain tumours, traumatic brain injury, infections, dementia, and other neurological conditions. Her clinical work seamlessly integrates evidence-based psychological practice with advanced neuropsychological techniques, enabling precise cognitive mapping and rehabilitation planning.
