Dr. Induja A is a dual-trained intensivist and anesthetist committed to excellence in critical care and perioperative medicine. With years of hands-on clinical experience in high-acuity settings, she brings a robust blend of technical expertise, leadership, and compassion to her work. Her training has equipped her to manage complex and critically ill patients in the operating room and intensive care units using evidence-based approaches and advanced technologies.
Dr. Induja is proficient in advanced airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, sepsis control, and mechanical ventilation. Her skill set also includes ECMO initiation and post-care, making her well-prepared to handle the most critical scenarios with precision and confidence. In addition to her clinical acumen, she possesses exceptional procedural skills, including ultrasound-guided vascular access, bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and pleural and pericardial procedures.
Her administrative strengths lie in ICU management, protocol development, and team leadership. She has contributed to quality improvement initiatives, aiming to optimise resource use and improve patient outcomes. Dr. Induja also has a passion for medical education, actively mentoring junior doctors and conducting workshops on critical care and anaesthesia.
Throughout her career, she has served in various capacities, including as a Medical Officer at PHC Chaliyam, Insurance Officer at ESI Hospital, and a Senior Specialist in her field. She earned her MBBS from Karuna Medical College under KUHS University and later pursued a DNB in Anesthesiology through NBEMS at Fortis Hospital. She further specialised with an IDCCM qualification in 2022.
Dr. Induja has participated in several national-level workshops and conferences, including EuroAsia 2024, ICACON, and Criticare 2025, reflecting her dedication to continual learning and professional development.
