Dr. Karthik Mohan

Dr. Karthik Mohan is a highly skilled and experienced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specializing in microvascular surgery, reconstructive surgery, burns management, trauma reconstruction, and cosmetic/aesthetic procedures. With extensive training and hands-on experience, he is committed to delivering precise, patient-centered care across a wide spectrum of plastic and reconstructive challenges.

He completed his MBBS from Govt T.D. Medical College, Alappuzha, followed by postgraduate training in General Surgery at Bangalore Baptist Hospital, Bengaluru, Karnataka. To further specialize in plastic surgery, he earned his MCh in Plastic, Burns & Reconstructive Surgery from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, Maharashtra, a testament to his rigorous academic and clinical preparation.

Prior to joining Aster MIMS Calicut, Dr. Karthik Mohan served as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at KMCT Medical College Hospital, Kozhikode, where he developed deep expertise in complex reconstructive procedures, microvascular free flaps, trauma management, and aesthetic enhancements.

Dr. Karthik’s approach integrates state-of-the-art surgical techniques, meticulous planning, and compassionate patient care to achieve optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes.
