Dr. Paulson Varghese is a highly trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in Sports Injuries, Trauma, Arthroscopy, and Joint Reconstruction. He completed his MS in Orthopaedics from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhubaneswar (AIIMS) and subsequently pursued advanced international clinical fellowship training in Sports Injury Surgery and Sports Medicine at Clinique du Sport, Paris and the Centre Médical du Football, Clairefontaine — a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence and the home of the French Football Federation (FFF), France.

Prior to this, Dr. Paulson served as Consultant and Assistant Professor at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, where he managed complex trauma cases including fractures, polytrauma, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and rehabilitation care. His clinical expertise combines evidence-based trauma management with advanced sports injury care, with a strong focus on restoring mobility, function, and return to sports.

Dr. Paulson has extensive expertise in arthroscopic procedures involving the knee, shoulder, and ankle, including ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, cartilage restoration, ankle ligament reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, management of shoulder instability, and sports rehabilitation planning. Through his advanced fellowship training in France, he has also gained valuable experience in the care of elite and professional athletes.

An academically driven clinician, Dr. Paulson has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed national and international publications in the fields of orthopaedics, sports medicine, trauma, and joint reconstruction. His practice emphasizes patient-centred care, minimally invasive techniques, accelerated recovery, and long-term functional outcomes.
