HOD - Critical Care
Dr. Sajid is an accomplished Critical Care and Pulmonology specialist with extensive experience in managing critically ill patients across diverse ICU settings. He holds an MBBS, DNB, IDCCM, and FCCM (Canada), along with a specialized fellowship in Adult Critical Care and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) from the University Health Network, Toronto.
Since 2018, Dr. Sajid has been at the forefront of intensive care, with expertise in advanced mechanical ventilation and liberation protocols, the management of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), non-invasive ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, and complex weaning strategies. His career journey includes working as Registrar in ICU at Meitra Hospital, Consultant in Critical Care at Aster MIMS Kozhikode and Aster MIMS Kannur, before advancing his skills internationally through his fellowship in Canada.
With a strong academic foundation and hands-on expertise, Dr. Sajid is deeply committed to improving outcomes for critically ill patients. His leadership as HOD of Critical Care Medicine reflects a dedication to clinical excellence, innovation, and compassionate care for patients and their families.
