Dr. Afra Anzar is a dedicated and detail-oriented Interventional Radiologist with extensive clinical training and procedural experience in high-acuity settings. She has specialized expertise in both vascular and non-vascular interventions and a strong academic and research background. Passionate about advancing minimally invasive therapies, she is committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care.
She completed her Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (FVIR) at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta, Bangalore, where she gained hands-on experience in complex vascular, oncologic, and transplant-related interventions, particularly in liver and renal transplantation. She has also served as a Senior Resident in Radiology at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, and completed his MBBS at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.
Dr. Afra Anzar has actively presented research papers and posters at multiple national conferences and has authored several case reports and pictorial essays, some of which are accepted for publication and others under review. Her research focuses on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), transplant interventions, gynecologic and renal vascular procedures, and advanced minimally invasive techniques.
