Dr P Fahaduzzaman, earned his graduation (MBBS) from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research [JIPMER], Pondicherry. Having acquired his postgraduation in General Surgery from Govt. Medical College Thiruvananthapuram, he served as Senior resident in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Later he acquired his Diplomate of national board General Surgery in 2016.
After working as Assistant Professor in General Surgery at KMCT Medical College, Mukkam in 2017, he also worked as Lecturer in Department of Surgical Gastroenterology at Government Medical College, Calicut in 2018.
Pursuing his interest in keyhole (minimally invasive) surgery, he further acquired the Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons [FIAGES] and the Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery [FMAS]. Moving forward, he obtained his Superspecialization - MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology and Hepatobiliary Surgery from Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. He continued as consultant Surgical Gasteoenterologist at NIMS Medicity and Thiruvananthapuram Medical College in 2021—2022.
His areas of expertise are laparoscopic colorectal and hepatobiliary procedures including gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancer surgeries.
