Dr. Vidya Bandaru

Dr. Vidya Bandaru is a highly experienced Interventional Pain Physician, Sports Physician and Musculoskeletal Radiologist with 14 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology and advanced image-guided interventions. She is specialized in Musculoskeletal (MSK) and spinal imaging, interventional pain management, regenerative therapies and minimally invasive procedures for a wide range of musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions.
Dr. Vidya has extensive expertise in MRI, particularly in MSK and neuro radiology, along with CT, X-ray, contrast procedures, mammography, antenatal and fetal imaging, general and specialized ultrasonography, and image-guided interventional procedures. Her clinical practice focuses on providing precise diagnosis and personalized, minimally invasive treatment using ultrasound and fluoroscopic guidance.
She has advanced training in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Pain Management, including a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology from Sri Ramachandra Medical Center, Chennai, and a Fellowship in Pain Management from Epione Hospital, Hyderabad. She has also completed certification in Endovenous Laser Therapy for varicose veins.
Dr. Vidya has served as Clinical Head at Epione Pain Management and Regenerative Center, Bengaluru, where she has been involved in advanced interventional pain management, regenerative therapies, spine interventions, peripheral nerve procedures, joint and musculoskeletal interventions, cancer pain procedures and sympathetic blocks.
Her comprehensive expertise includes epidural and facet joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, nerve blocks, PRP-based regenerative therapies, joint and tendon injections, trigger-point and bursa injections, cancer pain interventions, migraine interventions and procedures for neuropathic pain. She also has experience in endovenous laser ablation for varicose veins and teleradiology services for MRI and CT.
Before her current role, she served as Chief Radiologist and Director at Mediclu Diagnostics & Speciality Center, Consultant Radiologist at Satyam Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd., Registrar Radiologist at BGS Global Hospital, Bengaluru, and Junior Radiologist at Maa Diagnostic Center, Guntur.
Dr. Vidya completed her MD in Radiology from Guntur Medical College, where she was a University Gold Medalist, and her MBBS from Kurnool Medical College. She was also a state top ranker, securing 4th rank in the Andhra Pradesh postgraduate medical entrance examination.

Dr. Vidya has presented research at professional conferences including IRIA State Conference, Vijayawada, and RDT Conference. Her academic work includes presentations on cross-sectional imaging of the peritoneum and mesentery, antenatal diagnosis of osteogenesis imperfecta, and endoanal ultrasound and MRI. She has also submitted a case-series and systematic review on the imaging spectrum of osteoradionecrosis to the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology.
