Overview

Dr. Rahul Shah is a dual fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon, focusing on Adult Reconstruction, including "total joints," and Arthroscopic procedures for sports-related injuries. He earned his MBBS and completed his orthopaedic residency at Pt. J.N.M. Medical College, Raipur. Recognized as a top graduate and Best Outstanding student, he was awarded multiple College and University Gold Medals during the convocation ceremony by the Late PM Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and later by ex-ISRO chairman Shri G. Madhavan Nair for his excellent academic performance.

Dr. Shah underwent additional training in joint replacement at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai. This training contributed to his expertise in various advanced techniques, including Unicompartmental Knee Resurfacing, Navigated, and Computer-assisted Knee/Hip/Shoulder Replacements (Total/Revision). Furthermore, he completed his fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, where he received extensive training in managing ligament reconstructions for knee, shoulder, ankle, and other sports-related injuries.

Dr. Shah was previously affiliated with Mullaji Knee Clinic, Mumbai and has gained extensive experience through his tenure in several prestigious hospitals across the country, including Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, and Hinduja Hospital, Khar. His professional journey includes numerous joint replacement and arthroscopy surgeries to date.

Dr. Shah's contributions extend beyond the operating room, with multiple paper publications and presentations in national and international conferences. He remains dedicated to the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence, continuously striving to provide the highest quality care to his patients and contribute positively to society as a whole.

Dr. Shah takes pleasure in providing quality, comprehensive, and compassionate medical care to individuals across all age groups, from children to seniors. His specialization lies in addressing musculoskeletal conditions that commonly impact the aging population, such as arthritis. He employs minimally invasive approaches, including Unicompartmental Knee Resurfacing, joint preservation, cartilage transfers, and if needed, complex re-alignment procedures to enhance patient outcomes.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Shah dedicates his free time to family moments, reading, swimming, and engaging in table tennis for relaxation and enjoyment.
