Aster Aadhar Hospital's Aster Volunteers Organize Tree Plantation Drives at Various Locations
Promoting the message of environmental conservation, Aster Aadhar Hospital, Kolhapur organized tree plantation drives at various locations across the city under its Aster Volunteers initiative.
The first plantation drive was conducted at Puyakhadi, Vidya Mandir Wadipir, in collaboration with Amhi Vrukshamitra Seva Samiti, Karveer, Gram Panchayat Wadipir, and Vidya Mandir Wadipir (Primary Zilla Parishad School). On this occasion, Dr. Dallan Fernandes, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Aster Aadhar Hospital, Director Dr. Amol Kodolikar, Dr. Rahul D., Dr. Dhansagar Wakale, Dr. Mayur Mundhe, and hospital volunteers participated in the plantation activity, spreading awareness about environmental protection.
The second tree plantation drive was organized at Rajaram College, Kolhapur, jointly with the National Service Scheme (NSS), NCC 5 Maharashtra Battalion, and NCC 60 Maharashtra Battalion. The event was attended by Dr. Anita Bodke, Principal of Rajaram College, Dr. Ajay Keni, CMS of Aster Aadhar Hospital, Cardiologist Dr. Kaustubh Machnurkar, along with faculty members, non-teaching staff, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, Aster Aadhar Hospital volunteers, and students. Various saplings were planted across the college campus during the program.
Through these initiatives, Aster Aadhar Hospital reinforced its commitment to environmental conservation, creation of greener surroundings, and social responsibility. The hospital stated that similar social and eco-friendly activities will continue to be organized through the Aster Volunteers platform in the future.
On this occasion, Dr. Ulhas Damle, Managing Director (MD) of Aster Aadhar Hospital, said:
