Aster Aadhar Hospital, in association with Shahu Blood Bank, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp to encourage voluntary blood donation and support patients in need of life-saving blood.
The camp was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Dalon Fernandes, COO of Aster Aadhar Hospital, and Mr. V. B. Patil from Shahu Blood Bank, highlighting the importance of community participation in such life-saving initiatives.
More than 150 voluntary donors enthusiastically participated in the camp and donated blood. Their generous contribution will help ensure the availability of blood for patients undergoing surgeries, emergency treatments, and other critical medical conditions.
The event received an overwhelming response from citizens, patients’ relatives, and individuals from different professional fields. Doctors and staff members of Aster Aadhar Hospital also actively participated and donated blood, demonstrating their commitment to community health and patient care.
Throughout the camp, the Aster Aadhar Hospital team provided proper guidance and support to all donors to ensure a safe and smooth donation process. The initiative also helped raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and its role in saving lives.
