Aster DM Healthcare to donate Rs 15 crore for rebuilding Kerala

Aster DM Healthcare, a prominent healthcare services provider in India and the GCC, has announced a Rs 15-crore fund for helping the reconstruction of Kerala, which was recently hit by the worst floods in its history. ​

​Out of the total Rs 15 crore, Rs 2.5 crore has been donated to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, handed over the cheque to Mr Pinarayi Vijayan, the Chief Minister of Kerala at a function held in Trivandrum. The remaining ₹12.5 crore will be used for ‘Aster Homes’ project to construct new houses and repair the damaged houses in the flood-affected areas. Those who have their houses partially or fully damaged, can apply for the aid under ‘Aster Homes’ project at www.astervolunteers.com. The applicant has to submit a letter of attestation by the Village officer, Panchayat President or the MLA along with the application.
