Kochi: Aster Medcity, the Kochi based quaternary hospital, has signed an agreement with Kerala Blasters as the official Health & Wellness Partner for the 2nd season of ISL also . Aster Medcity have also tied up with KFA (Kerala Football Association) and will be supporting medical requirements inside the match venue (Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium), covering home and away teams, their support staff, related personnel and spectators. The venue will also have fully equipped and manned ambulances of Aster Medcity. Their emergency network including the famed ‘First Responder’ Service bikes will also be made available outside the stadium to cater to any medical emergency
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Harish Pillai, CEO Aster Medcity said, “We at Aster Medcity, have an outstanding Ortho and Sports Medicine facility, and we are proud to be associated with Kerala Blasters and a sporting event of this caliber. Our experienced team of doctors and paramedics will be on call, at the venue on all match days. We will also be setting up medical rooms for the players and their support staff within the stadium. We will also have medical points inside the spectators’ gallery, fully functional with experienced doctors, nurses, attendants and physiotherapists.”
