Breast milk is undoubtedly the best milk for babies. The Centre of Excellence in Child & Adolescent Health at Aster Medcity hosted a 3-day event for creating awareness on the incredible health benefits of breast milk and breastfeeding, which included talks, quiz and poster competitions. Renowned movie artist Asif Ali was the Chief Guest at main event, which was held on the 7th of August 2017 at Aster Medcity. Dr. P C Alexander, CMS & Lead Senior Consultant, Pediatrician and Dr. Jose Paul, Lead Senior Consultant, Neonatology spoke about the importance of breast feeding and the need to create awareness on the fact that breast milk make babies healthier. Mrs. Santy Sajan, Chief Operating Officer and Mrs. Rose Thomas, Chief Nursing Officer, Aster Medcity were also present at the function.
