Aster Medcity organises Christmas celebrations for the differently-abled

Aster Medcity has organised Christmas celebrations for the forty differently-abled inmates of Capernaum Charitable Trust, Pachalam. In the celebrations held at Aster Medcity Hospital, Kochi, Santa Claus greeted the guests by gifting them a Christmas hat and sweets. After lunch, a counselling session was held under the guidance of Aster KIND (The Kids Integrated Neurology & Development Centre). To add to the festive spirit, there were cultural programmes by Aster Medcity doctors and a Christmas cake cutting ceremony.​

The Christmas ‘Wish Tree’ placed at the hospital premises had the wishes of the inmates of Juvenile Home, Kakkanad and Prathyasa Bhavan, Palluruthi tied on it as notes. Those who would like to fulfil these wishes can get in touch with the hospital, who will make arrangements to facilitate the same.

The event was conducted by Aster Volunteers in Association with Ask foundation. Commander (Retd) Jelson Kavalakkat, Aster Medcity CEO, T R John, Chief of Medical Services and Dr Rajappan Pillai from the Ask Foundation were present.
