The White Army, a specially trained team that rescues people during natural disasters, along with Aster Volunteers from Aster Aadhar Hospital Kolhapur and NGO Korgaonkar Trust travelled more than 1700 kilometres by train to Kayamkulam, braving heavy rains, to provide all possible assistance to the mass flood relief operations being carried out in the district.
The 750+ member team at the Aster Aadhar Hospital, Kolhapur (a part of Aster DM Healthcare group) contributed one month’s salary to support rehabilitation of flood-ravaged lives in Kerala.
