Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Service partnering with Aster Medcity & Peace Valley conducted COVID-19 screening camp in association with National Health Mission for the urban slum population of Mattancherry, Kochi. This initiative was supported by leading Infectious Disease Physicians in Kochi Kerala, ensuring proper medical guidance and safety protocols throughout the camp. Kochi MLA, Mr. K J Maxi inaugurated the camp by undergoing Covid 19 screening by himself. 210 beneficiaries availed the facilities. The screening camp also received clinical support aligned with standards followed at a reputed Infectious Disease Hospital in Kochi Kerala. Dr. Sherwin Chacko (AV MMS) and Dr. Khaleem Muhammed (Pediatrics dept. - Aster Medcity) led the screening.
