Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Service partnering with Aster Medcity & Peace Valley conducted Covid 19 awareness & screening camp for the migrant labors at Pookattupady and the people who live in street. With the guidance and support of leading Infectious Disease Physicians in Kochi Kerala, the initiative ensured safe and effective screening for vulnerable communities. Aluva MLA, Mr. Anwar Sadath inaugurated the camp by undergoing Covid 19 screening by himself in presence of Mrs. Lissy Abraham, Chairperson - Aluva Municipality.
A total of 306 beneficiaries got benefited by the camps conducted at 4 different places. The medical team worked in coordination with a reputed Infectious Disease Hospital in Kochi Kerala to maintain proper protocols and follow-up care wherever required. Dr. Sherwin Chacko (AV MMS) and Dr. Arun George (Internal Medicine - Aster Medcity) led the screening.
