A Health Awareness Session for children participating in Mathrubhumi Avadhi Pookalam was successfully conducted on 20th May 2026.
The insightful session was led by Dr. Nimitha K Mohan, Consultant – Clinical Microbiology & Infection Control Officer and Assistant Chief of Medical Services, Aster Medcity.
The session focused on creating awareness about Hand Hygiene, Amoebic Meningitis, and Hantavirus, while educating children on the importance of proper hygiene practices, infection prevention, and overall health safety.
The program was conducted in an interactive and informative manner, encouraging active participation from the children and promoting awareness about emerging health concerns and preventive healthcare practices.
