Aster Medcity celebrated World Diabetes Day 2025 with Panjara Vandi, a unique sugar-free and fare-free KSRTC bus ride. The initiative, launched by the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology in collaboration with Club FM, was flagged off by actor Gibin Gopinath.
The Panjara Vandi traveled through Ernakulam, Fort Kochi, Aluva, and Angamaly, offering passengers free rides and complimentary services like counselling from diabetic educators, and on-the-spot GRBS testing. The idea was to bring diabetes awareness and early detection directly to people, making it accessible to everyone who hopped on board.
