A walkathon was conducted by the Aster DM Health Care volunteers. More than 300 volunteers participated in the walkathon, to commemorate the World Cancer Day.

Aster MIMS CEO Dr. Santy Sajan flagged off the walkathon which started from the Mavoor road junction. Senior consultant Dr. Satheesh Pathmanabhan conveyed the message on Cancer Day. Dr. Satheesh K.P, Dr. Abdul Malik Dr.Arun Chandrasekhar led the marathon.
