In a significant step toward environmental conservation and community engagement, Aster RV hospital and Aster Volunteers successfully organized a Mega Tree Plantation Program recently at Hulibele Village, Kanakapura Taluk.
The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from volunteers across departments, including Marketing, Finance, and students from the Nursing College, led by Professor Mr. Chetan. The collective effort led to the plantation of approximately 1,000 saplings, aimed at enhancing green cover and promoting sustainable practices in the region. Speaking at the event, local farmer Mr. Rajashekhar addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change, preserving biodiversity, and supporting rural livelihoods.
Mr. Parashuram, Deputy Manager, Aster Volunteers – Aster RV Hospital said, “At our core, we believe that healthcare extends beyond the walls of a hospital—it includes caring for the environment that sustains us all. This tree plantation drive reflects our commitment to building a healthier, greener future, not just for our patients, but for the entire community. Every tree planted is a symbol of hope, resilience, and collective responsibility. We are incredibly proud of our volunteers who came together with such enthusiasm and purpose. Their dedication is a reminder that real change begins with small, meaningful actions like this.”
The event underscored the spirit of collaboration and community service, highlighting that the initiative was not merely about planting trees, but about nurturing a sustainable future for generations to come. With the collective efforts of dedicated volunteers, the drive stood as a meaningful step toward environmental responsibility and care for the planet.
