Dr. Farooq completed his MBBS from Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary, and MS-in General Surgery from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, under RGUHS. He further enhanced his expertise with a Fellowship in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FMBS), recognized by OSSI.
With over two decades of experience, Dr. Farooq specializes in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, including bariatric procedures, complex hernia repairs, gastrointestinal and colorectal surgeries, thyroid and breast surgeries, and laser proctology, with over 19+ years of dedicated experience in bariatric care.
