Dr. Parimala V Thirumalesh

She has 27 years of experience in the field of Neonatology and Paediatrics, is University Gold medalist in MBBS, completing her MD Paediatrics from Command Hospital Airforce Bangalore with University second rank. Trained extensively in India and UK with completion of MRCPCH from Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK, and PGDIP in Neonatology from Cardiff University, UK.

 
She has worked at Newham hospital, South Bristol hospital, St Michaels hospital in UK as a part of South London CCT rotation before joining Aster where she was instrumental in achieving DNB Paediatrics and  Fellowship in Neonatology accreditations. Her area of expertise includes providing Neonatal intensive care services at quaternary care level with advanced ventilatory therapies, ECMO, USG, INO, HFO, perinatal management of babies post Fetal therapy and multidisciplinary management of all medical surgical diseases of children. She is a DNB accredited Professor of Paediatrics, Skilled in OPD and IP management of Children of all ages. Has written a book Baby 101 for new parents and has published multiple papers in International and National journals and conducted breakthrough research projects.

 
She has done her MBA in Hospital Administration, from the DY Patil University, Pune contributing to a strong planning, communication, and leadership skills to enhance operational excellence in Neonatal and Paediatric services.

Dr. Parimala has the CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) Southwest London rotation training in Paediatrics and Neonatology from UK and completed her MRCPCH from Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK.
