Dr.Ananya Kavilapurapu

Dr. Ananya is a highly skilled Paediatric Intensivist with over 8 years of extensive clinical experience in paediatrics and paediatric critical care. She completed her DrNB in Paediatric Critical Care from St. John's Medical College Hospital and earned her MD in Paediatrics from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, following her MBBS from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences.

With advanced expertise in paediatric critical care, Dr. Ananya specializes in the management of critically ill children requiring complex intensive care support, including invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, ECMO, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ultrasound-guided critical care procedures, and renal support therapies.

Her key clinical and academic interests include septic shock, ARDS, ECMO, and nephrocritical care. She is actively involved in evidence-based critical care practices, protocol-driven management, and multidisciplinary intensive care delivery aimed at improving outcomes in critically ill children.

Dr. Ananya has held important clinical and academic responsibilities at leading tertiary care centres, contributing extensively to bedside teaching, simulation-based training, and research activities in paediatric critical care. She is an Indian Academy of Pediatrics Advanced Life Support Instructor and has authored multiple scientific publications and research presentations. Known for her compassionate, family-centred approach and meticulous critical care management, she is committed to delivering the highest standards of care to children requiring intensive care support.

With advanced training in paediatric critical care, Dr. Ananya specializes in mechanical ventilation, ECMO, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and managing high-acuity PICU cases such as respiratory failure, septic shock, and trauma. Her key areas of interest include- Septic shock, ARDS, ECMO and Nephrocritical care.
Dr. Ananya has held key clinical and academic roles, contributes to teaching and research, and is an IAP Advanced Life Support Instructor with multiple publications.
