Trained in both Adult and Pediatric rheumatology, Dr. Abilash’s expertise centers around difficult rheumatic illnesses like SLE, connective tissue disorders, Spondyloarthritis, Gout, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Myositis, Vasculitis and wide-ranging musculoskeletal disorders- especially joint and soft tissue rheumatism. He completed his postgraduation in MD (General Medicine) from Govt. Medical college, Thrissur and super specialization (DM in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology) from King George’s Medical University (one of India’s top medical schools) and was Assistant professor in King George’s Medical University training young doctors in the field of rheumatology. He has EULAR (European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology) certification in rheumatology imaging and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He is a physician who strongly feels the motto “Returning back to easy mobility for patients should be the norm, rather than the exception”.
