Dr. Jeffey George

Dr. Jeffey George, skilled at treating complex gastrointestinal diseases. He is keenly interested in the research and treatment of pancreatic cancer, management of colorectal polyps, early colonic cancers, gastric polyps, endoscopic submucosal dissection (esd) and per oral endoscopic myotomy (poem ) for treatment of achalasia cardia. He is also proficient in evaluation of small bowel - double balloon enteroscopy.

He has a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Gastroenterology from Government Medical College, Calicut; a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Medicine from Government Medical College, Madurai; and an MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam. His research articles have been published in many reputed journals and he has been invited to present papers at various international conferences including ones held in the USA, South Korea, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. Dr. George was a Consultant at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi before joining the Centre of Excellence in Gastroenterology and Integrated Liver Care at Aster Medcity.
