Dr. Praveen Valsalan

With more than 7 years of experience, Dr. Praveen Valsalan is one of the best pulmonologist in Kochi with expertise in managing respiratory diseases, including sleep disorders, in patients of all ages. His areas of interest include Interventional Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. He earned his MBBS degree and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry. He was the Head of the Department of Pulmonology and a Senior Consultant at Lisie Hospital, Kochi before joining Aster Medcity’s Pulmonology wing. He has also served as an Assistant Professor at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College, Pondicherry.
