He is a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Orthopaedics and has also earned a Diploma in the discipline from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. He has completed undergraduate medical education (MBBS) from Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla, and has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals to his credit.
