He is a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Sports Medicine from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai, and an MBBS from Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery. He has been proficient at basketball, football, table tennis, and badminton right from his school days.
He currently is a Chairman of Medical committee of kerala Football Association, Sports medicine Consultant to Kerala Cricket Assocation, Member of all India football federation. Founding General secretery of Indian Society of Sports and Exercise Medicine.
