A Medical Gastroenterologist with more than 15 years of experience in managing complex gastrointestinal disorders and diseases. Dr Anish Kumar is an expert in upper and lower endoscopies - both diagnostic and therapeutic at the best multi speciality hospital in Calicut - Aster MIMS. He has performed more than 3000+ complex therapeutic ERCP procedures including biliary and pancreatic endo therapies. Started first liver transplant center in North Kerala with surgical gastrointestinal team. His area of interest includes therapeutic endoscopy, Acute liver failure and transplant hepatology.

Dr Anishkumar worked as specialist in Gastroenterology in AIMS, Cochin . Junior Consultant at Digestive disease centre, PVS Memorial Hospital, Ernakulam. Consultant in Gastroenterology at Moulana Hospital, Perinthalmanna.

He got many publications in national and international journals.

Completed MBBS from Calicut Medical College, MD (Gen. Medicine) from Coimbatore Medical College and DM (Gastro) from Govt. Stanley Medical College, Madras. He has had Special training in liver transplant from leading liver transplant centres in the world including Assan Medical center Seoul- South Korea, Medanta Medicity Gurgoan New Delhi and King's College London UK.
