Dr. Dhaneesh is a passionate and dynamic specialist in Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, currently serving as a Senior Specialist in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Aster MIMS, Kozhikode. A graduate of Government Medical College, Kannur (ACME Pariyaram), he earned his MBBS in 2014 under Kannur University. He went on to complete his MD in Respiratory Medicine from Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Thiruvalla, under the Kerala University of Health Sciences in 2020. Driven by his dedication to advanced critical care, he also earned the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) from Aster MIMS.
Dr.Dhaneesh brings with him more than four years of intensive care experience, with a strong foundation built through additional training in Emergency Medicine and Neurosurgery. His clinical expertise spans the management of ARDS, MODS, polytrauma, sepsis, and a wide array of medical emergencies. He is especially skilled in ICU-based interventions and advanced life support for critically ill patients.
He is proficient in a wide range of procedures, including ultrasound-guided thoracentesis and intercostal drain insertion, ICU bronchoscopy, central venous and arterial line placement, percutaneous tracheostomy, and hemodialysis catheter insertion. These advanced procedural skills are paired with a deep commitment to patient-centred care, ensuring both clinical precision and compassionate communication.
