Specialist - Emergency Medicine
Dr. Ijas Ahammed is a dedicated Emergency Medicine physician. A graduate of Travancore Medical College and a Master's in Emergency Medicine (MEM) from George Washington University, USA, he has independently managed acute care units, including COVID-19 Category C ICUs, and has handled high-acuity trauma and critical cases.
Proficient in airway management, invasive procedures, point-of-care ultrasound, and polytrauma care, Dr. Ijas is also an AHA-certified Instructor in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. He has served as faculty in several national-level workshops and has played key roles in medical preparedness for major sports events, such as the Santhosh Trophy and Hero Super Cup.
Academically active, he has presented at multiple national conferences and contributed to research on trauma outcomes. With a strong passion for teaching and public health awareness, Dr. Ijas leads BLS training sessions for both healthcare professionals and the general public. His commitment to emergency care extends to disaster response, having served during the Kerala floods in 2019.
