Senior Specialist - Paediatric Neurology
Dr. Krishnapriya is a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Neurologist at Aster MIMS Calicut. She has a strong foundation in child health and specialized expertise in pediatric neurology. After completing her MBBS from Government Medical College, Calicut, she pursued her DCH at Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery. She earned her DNB in Pediatrics from the prestigious Kanchi Kamakoti Child's Trust Hospital (KKCTH), Chennai.
With a two-year IAP-accredited Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology (FIPN), Dr. Krishnapriya has developed deep clinical expertise in managing a wide range of neurological conditions in children. Her areas of focus include pediatric epilepsy, neuroimmunology, movement disorders, neurometabolic and neurogenetic diseases, pediatric sleep disorders, neuromuscular conditions, and fetal neurology. She also has advanced training in pediatric neurophysiology and electrophysiology, including reporting over 2,500 video EEGs, covering neonatal and pediatric bedside EEGs.
Dr. Krishnapriya is deeply passionate about teaching and currently mentors pediatric postgraduates across India, the Middle East, and other countries, reaching a learning community of over 5,000 pediatricians. She is a sought-after speaker and educator in pediatric neurology.
She has also undergone specialized EEG training through the NESSAN EEG course and advanced mentorship under leading pediatric neurophysiologists in Pune.
With prior experience at Government Medical College Calicut and Pushpagiri Medical College Thiruvalla, Dr. Krishnapriya brings both academic excellence and clinical dedication to her role. She remains especially interested in the fields of pediatric neuroimmunology and movement disorders, always striving to deliver holistic, evidence-based, and child-centric neurological care.
