Dr. Mubeena P M

Dr Mubeena is a dedicated Pediatrics Specialist at Aster MIMS Calicut, with over 2.5 years of focused experience in managing a wide range of medical conditions in children. She provides expert care for children with epilepsy, status epilepticus, neuromuscular disorders, headache syndromes, and neurodevelopmental conditions.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Mubeena is actively involved in EEG assessments, neurophysiology studies and genetic counselling, providing families with personalised guidance and support. She is recognised for her compassionate, patient-centred approach and her commitment to evidence-based, multidisciplinary care, aiming to enhance the overall health and well-being of children.

Dr. Mubeena completed her MD in Pediatrics from Meenakshi Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Tamil Nadu (2019–2022), after earning her MBBS from Yenepoya Medical College (2009–2014). Her dedication, combined with continuous learning and hands-on experience, ensures that young patients receive comprehensive and specialized care tailored to their needs.

Over the years, Dr Mubeena has worked across leading institutions, including Medcity Hospital, Star Care Hospital, Rajagiri Hospital, and Madras Medical College. Her experience spans NICU & PICU care, neonatal resuscitation, pediatric emergencies, CNS infections, metabolic crises, and long-term care for chronic illnesses.

Alongside her clinical work, she has authored and presented several research publications and case reports on rare neurological conditions such as NMDA-MOG overlap, spinal muscular atrophy, and tuberous sclerosis complex. She has been a regular contributor at national and international pediatric neurology conferences.
