Dr. Sarath K is a highly accomplished cardiac anesthesiologist with over 13 years of expertise in the field of Cardiac Anesthesia and Cardiac Critical Care. He currently serves as the Senior Consultant & Chief of Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology at Aster MIMS Calicut, where he provides expert leadership in managing complex anesthetic and critical care needs of adult cardiac patients.
He completed his MBBS from Pariyaram Medical College, followed by an MD in Anesthesiology from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. To further refine his specialization, he pursued a Post-Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC) in Cardiac Anesthesia from the Government Medical College, Calicut.
Dr. Sarath has also earned prestigious international fellowships, including Fellowship in Cardiac Critical Care (FICCC) and Fellowship in Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (FECMO). These qualifications highlight his advanced expertise in perioperative cardiac care, ECMO management, and state-of-the-art cardiac critical care practices.
